"The Oscar of design" Packaging project awarded at the iF Design Award 2023, Berlin, Germany
CakeDog is a company dedicated to the artisanal production of healthy and fun pet foods. This project promoted transformation of the packaging of pet biscuits and repositioning of the brand in its moment of growth, in order to differentiate it from competing natural product proposals, increase its perceived value and make it an item of desire also due to its design.
Aline and Olga, creator of CakeDog and inspiring doggo, respectively, were the starting point. Their story inspired the representation of the happy and colorful universe that becomes real as soon as we open the door and meet our best friends.
The brand's identity and packaging now explore this explosion of feelings, which appears in the bright colors and organic and simple shapes of the illustrations and typography, and which extends to the verbal identity and the fun names of the cookies we call Biscãozito and Bisgatito.
